Does it work?
The mechanism works and the reason is not mysterious. Whether it works in your hands depends on what the week actually contains, so here is the week.
Why the mechanism works
A post that sends someone off the platform cost the platform a session, so its reach gets cut. A post that generates replies did the opposite, so it gets shown to more people. Asking for a one-word comment instead of a click puts the selling action on the rewarded side of that.
That is an incentive being read correctly rather than a loophole, which is why it is not seriously disputed.
What the work looks like

Four to six hours a week while you are slow at it, less once the format is familiar. No ad spend, no website, no product.
What makes it stop working
Stopping. The reach is earned per post rather than accumulated in a follower count, so a quiet fortnight resets the distribution rather than pausing it. That is the genuine downside of the model and it is worth knowing before you buy.
Who it does not work for
People who will not post. Not a character judgement — some people would rather pay for ads than film anything, and for them a paid-traffic route is genuinely the better fit.
