Does it make money?
The method can. Whether it does for you is a question about weeks of work rather than about the method, and here are both halves with numbers attached.
The vendor's own arithmetic
On a hundred subscribers: around two buy a $30 offer, which is roughly $45 across the hundred. A quarter of the hundred also have an interest in earning online, and a single per cent of those taking a larger offer adds roughly $300.
Same hundred people, about $45 becomes about $345. Every input there is labelled an assumption in the source document. It is an illustration, not a projection, and anyone presenting it as expected earnings is misusing it.

So the arithmetic is downstream of one habit. Nothing above happens without the posting, and the posting is the part nobody's spreadsheet models.
A realistic timeline
Week two: running, possibly nothing earned. Week four: enough replies to know whether the posts land. Week eight: enough data to know whether the offer converts. The seller's own report says a fortnight of comments and no sales is on track, which is more honest than the promotional emails around it.
Where people lose money on this
Buying and not running it. That is the whole failure mode at this price point, and it costs $2,497 for nothing rather than losing money to a bad method.
